North Devon Association Football League - Disciplinary Matters
Season 2012/13 saw big changes with regard to discipline with a move from day suspensions to match based suspensions. If you are unclear about anything to do with the new procedures you can read the FA Manual here. 3.03MB. It is a large document.
In order to view the latest disciplinary suspensions issued by Devon or Cornwall FA you will need to log in to Devon FA Member Services using your FAN number. If you do not have a FAN number you can request one on the same page. If you are a player you know when you have been sent off and you will know that you have a suspension starting in 14 days time. Your club secretary will also have received paperwork from Devon FA.
Latest news from Devon FA:
The current discipline regulation states that if a player is due to serve a suspension due to a red card or accumulated bookings then the suspension will start 21 days after the red or yellow card has been received.
From the start of the 2013/14 season any suspension for red cards or accumulated bookings will now start 14 days after the offence date. Therefore if clubs do not receive notification of a red card and subsequent suspension from Devon FA within 7 days please contact the office to chase it up. Non-receipt of paperwork will not be accepted as a valid reason for a playing whilst suspended, it is up to the clubs to enforce the suspension, hopefully we will have the paperwork to you within 5 days of the match.
