Collection of personal information
We may ask you to provide information at certain points on the Site, which include, but are not limited to, your name, postal address, date of birth, gender, telephone numbers, email address, National Participant Database number and Referee Registration Number.
The information that you are asked to provide will vary depending on the reason for the collection. In some instances, the provision of certain information will be mandatory.
How we will use your information
We will use your personal information for such purposes as:
- verifying your identity, where required;
- managing and administering football;
- managing and administering disciplinary actions;
- responding to enquiries;
- sending information to you;
We may aggregate the information you send to us with other data (so that you cannot be identified from that data) and use that aggregated data for administrative purposes and/or share it with other people. In particular we may provide such aggregated data to The Devon FA or The FA for statistical analysis where such analysis will identify the demand for football in certain areas, trends for participation in the game and allow The Devon FA or The FA to direct its resources to those areas of the game which are in most need such as facilities and football development.
Your right to access the information
You have the right to access the information that We hold about you. In order to do so please make a written application to the Data Protection Officer, at the address provided below. We may require you to provide verification of your identity and to pay an administration fee (which is currently £10) to provide a copy of the information that We hold. Please note that in certain circumstances We may withhold access to your information where we have the right to do so under current data protection legislation.
Updating your information
In the event that there is a change to your personal information for example your contact details, please let us know of this by writing to the Data Protection Officer, at the address provided below so that we can keep your information up to date and accurate.
